My story is not much different than many of the individuals we help through the marketplace. I work with Julibea Agency and what inspired me was the great care I received through my insurance, when I enrolled utilizing Affordable Care Act. I was used to having health insurance through my employers/jobs, when I didn’t have that, I enrolled in high cost, low value COBRA and finally learned about ACA. A few months after enrolling I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. My insurance covered more than my previous plans. I had surgeries, blood work, radiology, chemotherapy, and many many doctor’s visits. The care I received was exceptional and I had no issues, not one on insurance. I don’t just recommend it, I say you really can’t afford to live without it!
